***If you are a 3rd Party, please do not contact me about selling the car for me.***
84,358 miles (at time of posting)
Selling For: $4250 (this includes an set of 4 seven-slot rims and a beige car cover)
Exterior: Topaz
Interior: Ivory
The body of this XJ8 has very few dings and a few extremely small rust spots (one on the edge of the door and one on the edge of the trunk) that you really have to look for. The interior has a few small imperfections, and you can tell the only seat that has been used much is the driver’s seat. I have owned it since July 2008, put 10K-11K on it, and have kept it very clean.
The car runs fantastic! I had the engine gone through in May of 2012 (have the receipt of work done) which really improved performance and took care of a few issues. The engine light has been on since I owned it. It was put on an engine dyno in May of 2012, and it stated the issue was the fuel cap. A new fuel cap was installed, but the light has remained on. I do have a CarFax from June 2012, and will get an updated one. Since the CarFax of 2012, I have had a synthetic oil change, rotated/balanced the tires, and just had the front passenger side rotors, calipers, and brake pads replaced. It has a clean title and is in my possession. I also put in a new battery around August of 2012.
Features: original Jaguar 6 Disc CD Changer in trunk; full-size spare with the 10-slot rim and Jaguar Wheel emblem; two sets of keys plus valet key, moon roof, power everything, plus numerous other features. The only thing that (to my knowledge) doesn’t work is the cassette player and it doesn’t have a MP3 hook-up.

1973 V12 E-Type 2+2 |
|
|
|
1973 V12 E-Type 2+2 for sale, asking $16,500. The car was parked in the garage about 10 years ago when one of the wheel cylinders started to leak and it has not moved since. Originally purchased and driven down from Canada, the prior owner had spent over $15,000 rebuilding the motor and putting a new interior in the car. The current owner enjoyed driving it for several years before parking it. In its current condition it would probably require going through the brake and fuel system before it could be driven. The car was originally brown but was painted red some years prior to the current ownership. There are a few very small rust spots and up close it is clear that the quality of the paint is not as nice as it should be. The odometer currently reads 76,977 and is believed to be the actual miles. The car is located near Manchester New Hampshire and can be seen by appointment only. For additional photos or info please call Clarke Taylor at 603-587-0577.

Good, solid body for its age. Stored inside 99% of its life. White with blue leather interior. 6 cylinder. 4 door. About 90,000 miles. Complete car with good glass, good chrome, good tires. Doors and trunk open and shut very good. Motor is not running nor have I tried to get it running. I do not have the keys. Cable for hood is broke, but I can open the hood. I have lost interest and time and have too many other projects. $1000 or best offer. Located in Waseca, MN. Call, text, or email. Matt 507-521-0225

1956 XK 140 MC/SE Roadster
I purchased this 1956 XK140 SE from an auction selling two cars from the estate of Fredric E. Guest II of Saint Petersburg Fl. A 1954 Bentley DHC was the one that got away, as I was out bid on the Bentley. After getting the Jag back to the shop I started cleaning and inspecting my newest treasure. Under the seat cushion I found his Vinoy membership card and the new, never installed, license plate from 1997 with a note taped to the back from Woody. Verifying what I had been told, that the cars were stored in a warehouse for many years and not driven. (card, plate & note attached). After a Google search I learned a few interesting facts. Fredric E. Guest owned the plain with which his wife would attempt to be the first woman pilot to cross the Atlantic. However they found a young female pilot by the name of Amelia Earhart to take her place and aviation history started a new chapter. Fredric E. Guest was a Principal in the Vinoy Development Corporation that re-built the Stouffer Vinoy Resort in down town St. Petersburg and is credited with saving the downtown district.
Since this 140 was ground up restored in the early 90s all we had to do to make this car road worthy was replace all tires & tubes, rebuild the brake system including flex hoses. Replace all cooling hoses, flush radiator & add new coolant. Rebuild carburetors, replace air filters, flush fuel system and replace fuel pump. Replace battery, spark plugs, wires, points, condenser & tune engine. Replace cam cover gaskets, change oil & filter..…etc
April 21, 2012 we entered the Jaguar Club of Florida Concours d’Elegance in JCNA champion class C3, scored 98.10 for second place trophy behind Dr. Bob Rothbard’s 100 point car. April 20, 2013 JCOF Concours score 98.35.
November 18, 2012 we entered the JCOF fall Slalom and finished second & third in Jaguar Clubs North America final standings in Class B. Proving that this car runs as good as it looks.
Copies of all articles will be provided to new owner of this XK140 along with Bentley registration, 1997 plate, his Vinoy club card and JCNA results.
Asking price $89,900. Pictures at the following Picasa site.

1972 E-Type V12 2 + 2 hull for sale |

Moved to the US from UK with 1972 E-Type, right-hand drive. Have acquired this car as it was my fathers originally. I have most of the original parts which would need to be restored. No rust on floor or under carriage. patch panels come with car to repair quarter panel rust. Also, replacement rocker panel. original engine available, but needs cylinder head. It is completely taken apart. My husband was going to restore it, but finds it too daunting a job. There is no title or VIN. I could part it out. Looking for $8500 or best offer.

1962 Jaguar. 3.8L MK2 Saloon, 4 speed with overdrive, matching numbers. All mechanical and electrical components are in good working order. The exterior is silver on a maroon/red restored leather interior, part of which is original. The wood has patina and is in good condition, and not in need of immediate attention.
TIRES & WHEELS
New Vredestein radial tires purchased in July 2010 with fewer than 1000 miles on Series II E-Type chrome rims. The original curly hub painted wire wheels are also included with decent but older tires (no checking or cracks). The chrome and stainless steel are in excellent condition. It’s Lucas Fog Ranger lights are as delivered since the car was originally a Canadian import and only came to the states in 2008. It is still positive ground and has the original radio and generator (that works fine). It had a repaint about 17 years ago, that is still in decent condition, although there are chips. The car is driven regularly and runs and looks great. Oil pressure is in excess of 40 to50 lbs hot. Recent work includes:
• New clutch, engine detail and transmission reseal, October 2012.
• All new brakes, (including emergency brake that works great) – August 2010;
• New rear rotors – August 2010;
• New rear hubs and wheel bearings – August 2010;
• New rear semi elliptical springs - January 2011;
• Fall 2012 tune;
• Water pump, belts and hoses – November 2008.

FOR SALE: 1953 XK120 se OTS |

Partially matching numbers JDHT. Head matches chassis number. Beautiful cosmentic restoration. Silver exterior/new original spec red/biscuit interior. New Robbins top, side curtains & frame. Never rusty except in drives side battery box. New clutch, flywheel, starter, wiring harness, tools/jack and more. The car was solid and ran and drove well when I bought it, being only cosmetically challenged.
The car, chassis number, S673724 as per JDHT was manufactured on March 9, 1953. Hence there are some possible discrepancies. As per Steve Kennedy's JAGUAR THE CLASSIC MARQUE chrome side lamps were replaced by integrated lamps in September or 1952. When I bought the car I attributed this to possibly fenders having been replaced, rusted leaded side lamps being replaced or parts from Sept 1952 not making their way into a car until March 53. In any case it didn't matter to me (I prefer the chrome sidelamps) and this car is an extremely attractive driver and mostly (99%) correct.
Also to avoid confusion regardin se, S and M designations, treferring to JAGUAR THE CLASSIC MARQUE: (Page 65-66)
"MAY 1952 The Special Equipment XK engine is offered as optional. The XK 120 Special Equipment models are available with ONE OR ALL of the following options: (emphasis is mine)
'SE' Model (Non- US Designation) 'M " Model (Unofficial US Designation)
• Dual exhaust pipes (both emitting on the left side of the car under the overrider except for the FHC's produced after March 1953)
• Wire Wheels
• Two, 1¾-inch SU carburettors
• Optional Two, 2 inch H8 SU Carburettors
• C type cylinder head "
"APRIL 1953 ...
When the XK 120 is equipped with the C type cylinder head, it is designated the XK120S in Europe and referred to as the XK120M, 'M' for modified, for the USA export market.
DUAL EXHAUST PIPES AND WIRE WHEELS are fitted on the XK !20S models."
At any rate it is a lovely 60 year old car that has good bones, is the right color combination, had been on the road for at least the 27 years before I owned it and is one of Jaguar's iconic creations.
