E Type 3.8 Service Manual with 4.2 Supplement | |||

I purchased a new 1968 E Type from the factory in Coventry in late 1967. Even had a "custom" color put on the 2+2 that had to be "approved" by a factory committee, "opalescent green" (brit for metalic). Anyway, when I took delivery from the factory "export division" (had to meet US standards, ie l/h/drive etc. I purchased from the factory the official service manual for my new car (had the series 2 4.2 supplemental) for US and domestic models. Transfered back early in 1968 with a car with no mileage since it was for export only. Stored for years and sold in original condition approx 1983. I would like to sell that green hard back Service Manual that was hardly opened. I found it in my attic last week. Only wear is the first page has torn from the 3 ring binder and the edges of the pages have yellowed from age and a few pages have some finger prints.
