1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 OTS ,British Racing Green
OTS; roadster/convertible/ragtop)
Mileage. 106,350 miles; it has turned over only once. My dad bought this car used in 1968 which means I've been driving this vehicle for 46 years.

Color: British Racing Green (BRG)

Engine: Original 3.8 litre double-overhead cam straight 6. Redline: 5,900 rpm
Condition: Very good; runs well and looks nice. It was pranged (dented) once so the nose of the bonnet (hood) was repaired. The car was repainted from the original blue to BRG using a DuPont Imron polyurethane finish with about seven coats, rubbed out between coats,.

Interior: It has new original sheet metal from XKs Unlimited for the center consol and shift-lever dome.

Gearbox, 4-speed manual. The original transmission did not have synchromesh in first gear. My dad replaced the transmission with one from a newer model so it now has synchro in all four gears

Differential: Original high-ratio.

Engine: Was tuned up only a few hundred miles ago by Burnett in Palo Alto.

More and more me for details!

1960 Jaguar MK IX saloon in Pacific Northwest

1960 Jaguar MK IX saloon

Motivated to sell my long-time restoration project – 1960 Jaguar MK IX 4-door saloon. Engine completely rebuilt, brakes rebuilt; Borg-Warner automatic transmission serviced; both gas tanks relined, re-keyed; new paint; some new chrome, some original. Runs well, drives well (but still on original skinny bias-ply tires), lights, turn signals etc. all functional. Needs wiper motors. Needs complete interior re-furbished – headliner, wood, upholstery. Interior completely removed and stored in preparation for completion.

Many pictures available. Car is located in Boise, Idaho (I originally purchased it in Oregon).

Presently insured for $16,000; Hagerty valuation guide is ~~ $15,000 (condition 5) – of course, I have much more than that in it – the common story!

Asking $13,500 OBO -- I’m open to offers; on-line searches reveal asking prices from a few thousand $$ for parts cars to $35-$40K for concours-level original or restoration MK IXs, such as several on this JCNA site. A similar-stage restoration was recently on offer in the Pacific Northwest at $17K.

An off-the-wall trade thought -- looking for a decent JD or Case 350 or 450 crawler with 6-way blade, winch (no, not a concours machine!)

Calls or e-mails are welcome: 208-284-5073 or

I purchased the XKE serial number UC1S734338 in October 1997, from the third
owner, a fellow member of the South Florida Jaguar Club. The vehicle was in original condition, with sable brown exterior, and
cinnamon leather interior. The car is a matching numbers car with approximately
54K miles and sports an automatic gearbox and
chrome wire wheels.
When delivered, the automatic gearbox was nonfunctional, so the engine and gearbox were removed to have the original gearbox rebuilt. This kicked off a comprehensive 16 year major restoration which included a complete bare metal color change to Platinum and a new BAS interior in the buckskin color.
The engine bay was dismantled and fully detailed to original spec and all suspension parts were restored or replaced. The engine ran fine at teardown so it was left as original but detailed to show quality.
The interior was completely restored using only the finest quality materials supplied by BAS Jaguar Trim of Vancouver, Canada.
Most external chrome was replaced with NOS
or re-plated to show standard.
The tires are new Dunlop SP radials on the original rims, and the spare is the original Dunlop that was never out of the car.
The 3 piece original trunk tool set is present in a new original spec jack bag.
The braking system was fully rebuilt and a new stainless exhaust system along with an NOS chrome 4 outlet tail pipe installed.
The rear end was dropped, dismantled and
painted/detailed to show quality.
All work is photo documented and there is
a huge file of invoices supporting the work done during the 17 year restoration process.
The Jaguar runs well and cool and is a pleasure to drive and yes the A/C blows cold!
This fine example is priced at $54,900. for a quick sale. Feel free to e-mail with questions and check out the dropbox link for a comprehensive photo file.
Thanks for looking---

Re.: XK-120 for sale - $79,000US located in Vancouver, BC
Edited on 2014-12-31 13:42:36

This XK-120 was built 18 February 1952. Not much is known about the first owner who sold the car in 1964 to a man who showed it in JCNA competition and won a few awards (I have the score sheets.) The car was also photographed and has appeared in several hardcover books. It was subsequently modified for vintage racing in the 1980's and ran several events in the VSCDA in the Midwest; I have the VSCDA and HMSA log books.

It was fully restored in 2010. The car got a red interior from BAS and is painted a period comet "light blue metallic." The car was stripped bare metal. The sills were replaces. There is no rust on the car. While not all the parts in the car are original, all the original components are sitting in the garage. The car currently has a 1970 e-type engine and a close-ratio gear box. The original gear box and engine come with the car. All the original parts are sitting in the garage, in boxes, many of which are tagged and labeled.

Please contact for further info on parts, heritage certificate and additional history.

It’s a sad day, but I have to let this one go to make room for a new project. It’s a 1988 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas, located in N.E. Ohio. Adult driven, and garage stored this one has been well maintained. It has 108k miles, and is in beautiful condition. For an Ohio car, it has minimal rust and other than one spot on the rear passengers panel and the undercarriage is clean. The interior is pristine, all original leather with no tears or spots. She is mechanically sound all around, new plugs, wires and a tune up completed less than 1K miles ago. The only issue is that the power steering pump is going bad, and has a small leak but was left as is because I do not have the time to replace it. I have plenty of pictures, and please contact me with any questions you have.

Re.: Extremely Nice 1964 Jaguar 3.8S $23,995 B/O
Edited on 2014-12-27 7:38:11

This is a bit of a project from being stored the last 2 years, she will need some fiddling. I will begin correcting some minor faults, purchasing the few missing parts and sorting her out a bit.

Some pictures, listed on eBay, Item #221645181153 (see link below?)

For your consideration, is a very nice 1964 Jaguar sedan that I describe as being in "high quality" driver condition, others would say "restored". She retains her original matching number 3.8 liter 6 cylinder engine along with her factory Borg Warner automatic transmission. She has not been driven in approximately two years. The major"restoration" work was performed about ten years ago, lightly driven, than stored:

Rebuilt Engine, New Paint, Chrome Work, Complete Leather Interior, Wood Refinished, The Brake System & Suspension were gone over and later a complete Stainless Steel Exhaust was fitted.

More recently, early 2012, both fuel tanks and sending units were replaced, the front suspension was rebuilt (including shocks), wire wheel conversion with new hubs, the brakes gone over, the harmonic balancer was rebuilt, an electronic ignition was added, the water pump replaced along with a few other things. This recent work totaled just over $10,000

I will consider a partial trade, for the right sports car project.

This Jaguar is located in New Jersey, 20 miles East of Philadelphia, PA. I have a large file of pictures that I can e-mail you.

If interested give me a call. Regards, Joe 609-518-0878

1992 Jaguar XJS Convertible V12
For sale, my much cherished 1992 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible. It is a 1992 facelift model. I think it is the best looking of the class, great look and lines.

My wife bought this car for my 50th birthday back in 2010, but now it is time to reluctantly part with it. I am the second owner. The previous owner lived in Florida, so it has never seen snow.
I have never driven it in the wet, or even on wet roads. I take it for a run every two weeks to make sure that everything is good.

Genuine 51k miles, clean Carfax shows no accidents, and that the mileage is correct.

Bodywork and chrome are excellent with no rust at all.

Just passed NC inspection and is up to date with servicing. All work done at the local main Jaguar dealer. They have a mechanic experienced with the marque and the V12 motor.

Lots of part replaced in the last four years. I have all the receipts, and all mechanical work that needed to be done has been done with genuine, new Jaguar parts.

Over $7,000 spent on the mechanical and electrical work. New electrical radiator fan, ABS reservoir, power steering hoses etc. No overheating problems.

Roof has a small hole in it, it is the original roof and should be replaced along with the headlining.

I really want this car to go to a Jaguar enthusiast who will continue to look after it as I have done.

Available for viewing in the Cary/South West Raleigh area. Any inspection welcome.

I am willing to let this car go for $15,950.

(Price reduced as I have medical bills to pay)

Lovely, one-owner, meticulously maintained 1984 XJ6. Metallic charcoal with taupe interior and polished wheels. Almost completely original. All mechanicals function properly with the exception of the air conditioner, which does not blow cold air. Re-painted the original color when the paint began to check, the exterior is near flawless (there are a few inches of slight bubbling of the paint at the base of windshield and rear window). The seat backs, front and rear are the original leather and near flawless (there are three small tears on the driver’s seat back). The seat bottoms, front and rear, have been reupholstered in vinyl that perfectly matches the original leather, which had begun to crack.

The straight six runs strong and the three speed automatic shifts silky smooth. This car proceeds with grace, space and pace. $6,775.00.

The car is located in Tarzana, California. Call Jonathan at (310) 699-0101

1994 XJS 6.0 V12 Convertible
Edited on 2014-12-10 20:19:12

A very rare opportunity to buy an unusual Jaguar in exceptional condition. The 6.0 V12 was the last iteration of this car and production numbers were low in 94,95 and 96. Production numbers from the UK indicate Jaguar build around 1000 of these cars for worldwide sales in 1994. Jaguar cars of North America Data indicate only 73 of the 6.0 liter V12 2+2 convertibles were sold between 94 and 95.
This car spent its first 3 years in California and was used by the owner of a company as his company car; it only covered 8500 miles during this period when the owner moved to New Hampshire. The car was passed to the company’s new President Henri La Blanc who kept and maintained the car for personal use until I bought it from him in 2013. Maintenance files are extensive.
The car has been used correctly, getting regularly exercised but covering low miles which are currently 50,794. The previous owners and I have kept a hand written log of each time the car was used once its warranty period expired in 1997. It has always been garaged, covered and has a battery preserver/conditioner built in.

The car would need some minor cosmetics to the interior and fabric top to be a concourse contender.

Genuine reason for reluctant sale.
