“Team Ogle Rules” was the cry at the Carolina Jaguar Club held this year in Little Switzerland, North Carolina. Jane Ogle likes to make the concours events a real family affair. Her daughters Becky and Cindy along with Becky's husband Jimmy, and Cindy's daughter Anna, teamed together to really put the “shine” on Jane's XJS V12. It was quite clear that this was one well-organized team, even down to the matching t-shirts. Joining the Ogle Team were Gary & Kim Cobble driving their 2005 S-type; Ben & Natalie Bailey driving their 1981 XJ6; Peter & Pat Davis driving their 1966 E-type; Marvin & Sandra Hobson driving their XJR; Brian & Love Hobson driving their 1991 XJS V12 convertible; Gerry & Becky Mitchell driving their 1971 S3 E-type. The Carolina Jaguar Club held their 2009 JCNA sanctioned Concours for the second year in Little Switzerland, North Carolina. This is a small resort town located about 40 miles northeast of Asheville, North Carolina. It is high in the mountains and very picturesque. Judging from the popularity, it would be a good guess that CJC will return next year. The event began on Thursday with a drive into Asheville; Friday night Fish Fry at the Little Switzerland Inn; Silent Auction; Concours on the grounds of the Inn on Saturday; and closing with the Banquet/Awards Presentation Saturday night. Ben & Natalie enjoyed a second place trophy with their XJ6 in class D6.
