Originally purchased on January 7, 1970, in Brea, California, by Mr. R.C. Loving for the princely sum of $3,615.00, this Jag received tender loving care by its sole owner, until moving to Connecticut.

Series 2 E-type 2+2 1969 |
The first owner of this car was in California. There were two owners in Arizona and it then went to New Hampshire. We purchased it in the summer of 2002. Last summer was spent shaking it down and correcting poorly done repairs. The first event we took it to was at Lime Rock Raceway on Labor Day Weekend 2003. Looking forward to the 2004 season. The photo is at our waterfront with our dock and boat in the background.

1987 Series III Some say the “BEST” year for an XJ6 |
I bought this Series III in October of 1997 with only 43,000 miles. The first owner only drove it 800 miles during the first year he owned it. This car had been extremely well cared for by its three previous owners. It has the original burgundy interior and the original black paint in nearly perfect. It now has slightly over 50,000 miles and has yet to give me any problems, so much for the Jaguar myth of “nothing but trouble with those English cars”, if my daily driver only ran so well. I have enjoyed concouring the car since 1999 and scored a 99.72 in 2003 in Class 12.

1986 Series III Jaguar in New England |
This XJ6 was imported to Connecticut from sunny California in December of 2000. It’s a very early 1986 (built in August of 1985, VIN# 434488) without the 3rd brake light. I am the third owner and have spent the last three years restoring this car including new paint and a new interior. Every option works including the a/c and the cruise control. In 2003, I started showing in Championship Division (Class 12) where I achieved my goal of over 99 points at the JANE concours. Not too bad for a car with 170,000 miles on the odometer.
