I have been looking on line at a 1986 XJ6. It has a leaper on the bonnet. Several others I see do not. I would like to know if the leaper was factory installed or was it dealer installed. I would guess dealer installed since some are without. Thanks for your opinions!

 None of the Ser IIIs had factory installed leapers. All were dealer (or owner) installed, as you surmised
