Can anyone tell me when the xk120 changed from the the beaded flutes to the non-beaded version for the grill?
Also, can anyone tell me the correct number wiper motor for an early steel body xk120? 1950, 670309.
Thanks.

Thanks, Robert. Is part 75088M compatible? There is one for sale on ebay that claims to fit all early models.
Maybe I should have asked a different question regarding the beaded grill. Is car number 670309 one of those that would have had a beaded grill? The grill on the car is not beaded but very well may not be original.

I got a response to an email today from the person who owns 670316. He was nice enough to respond to me and says that his car does not have the early type grill vanes, and in fact he owned an even earlier car that did not have the beaded vanes in the grill. In fact, he had owned an alloy car that didn't have it either. Although he could not confirm that it was as original. I guess that I will use the later type.

Is the wiper motor 75084 H a compatible assembly for the xk120? I don't know what the separate H designation means. Thanks for your help.

Gerald it is compatible and the H indicates a modification of some sort. Check that the mounting plate is the same.
