i just bought a 1995 xjs convertible. the tan leather seats have quite a few cracks in them. i want to reupholster or replace. any suggestions? i see kits on ebay. i'm normally not afraid to tackle any project, but not sure about this
I recommend a product called Leatherique if the cracks are not too bad. They advertise in the Jaguar Journal and offer a discount to JCNA members.
The product is fairly expensive, so I suggest trying some if anyone in your area uses it; I used it for years and it really helped with surface cracks on a daily driver. (6 JCNA class championships).
