My 1965 3.8 S sedan has been sitting for over a year borg warner tranny and cannot move the shift lever. I disconnected the swivel at the transmission, and still cannot move the lever.
Has anyone thoughts what I can do to free this. Can the cable freeze in the housing ??.
It seems like it has frozen, I would try to get lubricant in it then heat it with a hair driver, If no luck you will have to take it partially out at least to try getting lubrication in it.
