Several people have asked me what software was used to do the graphics and create the pages for this website. The primary HTML layout software used was Macromedia's Dreamweaver 3.0 (about $200 for the current 4.0 version) and is currently used to manage this site. Graphics were created using Ulead's Photo Impact 5.0 (about $50.) For miscellaneous text editing and for coding the cgi and perl programs, I used Fookes Software's NoteTab Pro (about $20). I have used other packages over the years so I do have some experience with other products if you are considering one of them. Budget is a big factor in any web design task and not everyone is willing to spend money for just one website. I started my club's website with Netscape's built in editor. There are sites on the web that will help you along the way from how-tos to optimizing images. If you have a question, please feel free to ask it here.
