Looking at newsletters and at some of the great articles submitted each year for the newsletter competition, it's clear that we have some great writers among club members. We need to offer more club material on JCNA.com and I need your help getting it.
The JCNA website, and the club sites/pages are excellent recruiting tools to increase membership. Every month, dozens of new members join an affiliate club online thru the JCNA website after browsing and viewing local club information. It's critical to show them when the clubs are about and offering club news and articles is a good incentive; if they see an active club they are more likely to join, aren't they ?
Like all of you, I'm just a volunteer and my time is limited : i can't go thru every online newsletter try to copy and paste articles, or email editors for the text, pictures, etc... Instead, I have updated the article submission page on the web site to make it VERY easy to post your articles and pictures; It takes under 5 minutes to submit an article and a few pictures thru an easy on line form.
The form can be used by any club officers, like most to the club services we offer, not just by editors although club editors and webmasters are the most likely to use it... but I'm sure they could use some help too :-)
it's easy... first, log into the club services page at www.jcna.com/php/login.php using your club nr and password. Then from the Club Menu, click on Content Manager then click on the "Click here to upload an article" link. Click on the browse button to locate the file containing the article text on your computer, choose an optional thumbnail, and submit the form ! Once the article is uploaded you can add optional images which will be shown in a slide show on the article page... that's it !

In the next few days, a new Club Showcase section will be added to the JCNA homepage for club news and articles... Articles are also shown in the JCNA.com library as well as your club page.
Any club or Jaguar related topic can be uploaded : event reports, members drive, tech tips, restoration stories, etc... anything as long as it is original content... please to not upload copyrighted material from other websites or magazines....
Also, please note that articles submitted on JCNA.com will be used by Mike Cook for the article awards of the newsletter competition... details are being worked on but it will save you time as you won't have to send them in separately.
So promote your club, help us promote JCNA and increase membership ! It's easy, give it a try...
