Anyone out there have a 38drophead?? Restoring a 3 1/2 Litre and have a 39 drophead as a partscar but have two dash styles to choose from. One style; the steering column goes thru a hole in the dash, the other has a cut out and the dash fits over the column. Unfortunately neither has the body# penciled on the back.

Jeff - I'm a few years ahead of you with my '51 Mk.V 3½-litre DHC, but I've collected a few photos of Mk.IV & Mk.V interiors if it's of any use. I also have an original 1938 SS brochure, but there are no interior shots, unfortunately. Still looking for a steering wheel & horn assembly for my own Mk.V to replace the Corvette power steering unit the previous owner fitted - the only visible non-standard part on the car. It's far too direct with the current setup, so I may retro-fit the original steering in its entirety if I can find one at a good price. You can reach me directly at glynnkerr@yahoo.com if you'd like me to send images.
Regards, Glynn.
