XK140...Should Fender Beading be same as body color?

 Just finished respray of my 140 OTS in original OEW. Question...previously had black fender beading & contrast looked sharp especially with black ragtop.

But should beading also be sprayed to match body color? I have done this---body color with original 16" wire wheels.
