AGM to Feature Free Seminar on Successful Web Site Strategies for Local Jaguar Chapters

JCNA has moved into the 21st Century, and at Franklin this year, can help your local club to do the same. This free seminar shows some simple and easy to understand techniques to enhance a JCNA club's Internet presence. In brief, these include:

• The 5 essential things your club must have on its web site
• How to make your site a marketing tool for recruiting new members
• How to keep changing parts of your site easily current--even by the computer novice
• How to add/update new pages to your site easily without a lot of complex coding or skill
• How several club members can update/change only certain parts of a web site

The seminar is led by Wayne Estrada, founder of the Virginia Jaguar Club and president of a national Internet Hosting Company and a UNIX (programming)training company. Wayne talks in layman's terms and uses lots of simple analogies to help guide both novices--and experts--through a comfortable understanding of how your club site does, and can work for you.

Challenge Championship Registrations

Registrations to the JCNA 2001 Championship Challenge are at 165 Jaguars (as of 7/1) to preside over the historic streets downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Although still receiving registrations, there are already 22 C and D-Types, XK-SSs, LT3 and a Lister! About 350 guests have registered for the Awards Banquet! Hotel rooms are still available from Wednesday on at the rate of $105.00 per night. You can still make reservations to attend the Thursday evening (no cost) welcoming cocktail party, the Friday evening Grand Ole Opry dinner and show or the Saturday evening awards banquet! Whew, this is going to be an event not to miss! Norman Dewis will be joining us for the entire week. Norman was the Chief Test Engineer for Jaguar Cars Ltd. from 1952 until 1985; developed the Dunlop disc brake with Dunlop and co-drove Mille Migla first time with the new Dunlop brakes were on a car; test drove every model produced by Jaguar from his hire until his retirement and logged over 1,250,000 miles at Mira at over 100 mph! He is the feataured speaker at the Saturday Awareds Banquet. Mike O'Driscoll will join us at the concours on Saturday and will also address us at the banquet. Fran O'Hagen, Vice President of Retail Sales will address those going to dinner on Friday evening at the Opryland Hotel; Dennis Lassiter, the Brand Manager and Andy Menzyk, President and COO of Jaguar Credit will be with us for many events during the week. Simon Sproule, Vice President of P.R. will be with us for the week end. In addition, many Jaguar personnel will be there during the week. Jaguar Cars is truly supportive of this event. Please make an effort to meet and talk with them - and show them our appreciation.
