Over the past few weeks, new software has been developped on JCNA.COM to provide some new exciting services to JCNA clubs along with new useful features for our members. Here is a quick run down of these features and what they mean to your club.

On Line Score Entry :

The new database system installed on JCNA.com has allowed us to setup a convenient Score Entry system which affiliate clubs can use to enter and submit their scores for all three competition program. Once scores are entered, they are immediately available on the site and affiliates can generate and print the official report form to be sent to the score keepers. No more manual filling or the report and your members can compare their scores right away

For testing purposes, we've imported the Concours data from 2001 which is listed on each club page.

Event Calendar :

Clubs can now add their own events, sanctioned or non sanctioned, for inclusion in the on line JCNA calendar and for addded convenience these events are displayed on each club page as well.

To facilitate sanction request, once an sanctioned event is added to the calendar, you can now generate and print an official Event Sanction Form instead of having to manually fill one ...

Club data :

The Club data page has been modified to accept more information including additional officer positions, editor mailing address and more. The data has been converted to a more consistent format which now makes it possible to export it for official JCNA use, directory, etc...

Please review your club page and add any additional information you need listed. The editor mailing address is important so that we can publish an up to date mailing list for clubs who exchange newsletter with others, something clubs have been asking for a while.

While conveting the data, we noticed that a number of clubs have not added the needed information for the on line applications; if you haven't please do so as soon as possible. New membership applications come in every day but if your club doesn't list its dues amount and mailing address, visitors can not join !

 

All of these new services are available from the Club Panel page, login information ( user name and password ) remains the same. If you are an affiliate club officer and do not have your club login, please email webmaster@jcna.com; for security reasons login info will only be emailed to addresses already listed on a club page.
