The Carolina and Smoky Mountain Jaguar Clubs are pleased to announce that sanctioning has been approved for a regional concours and slalom. The events will be held on Saturday October 19th and Sunday October 20th in conjunction with the EURO2002 Autofestival, located at the BMW Manufacturing facility in Greer, SC.

Jaguar was the featured margue at last years event and was represented very well with 79 Jaguars. This years featured margue is the Mini. and Austin Healey will be the honorary marque to commemerate their 50th anniversary. Huge turnouts are expected from both the Mini and Healey folks. The MG Drivers Club of America has also chosen EURO2002 as their annual gathering, and should be very well represented. It is anricipated that well over 400 cars will attend this years event. And we are hoping for at least 100 Jaguars to grace the lawns in front of the BMW museum.

Registration

Registration forms are now available for the Southeast Regional Concours and Slalom. Thanks to the huge support from Terry Wall, Jaguar of Greenville, there will be no pre- registration fees required for the Jaguar events, though participants must register for the EURO2002 AUTOFESTIVAL. Schedule of the Jaguar related events

Concours : Saturday Oct. 19th at the BMW Zentrum 8am til 4pm Judging will begin at noon. Registrations close at 10:30am.

Slalom : Sunday Oct. 20th at the Greenville Municipal Stadium 9am til 11:30am

Jaguar Awards Luncheon : Sunday Oct 20th at the BMW Zentrum 12:30pm

The EURO website has many events listed for the weekend, beginning on Friday. You are encouraged to register early, for these events have filled up early in past years.
