... when we hold our inaugural Concours d'Elegance on September 15, 2002 at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville, Georgia. The Chattahoochee Country Club is located on Lake Lanier just off Highway 60 which connects Gainesville and Dahlonega.

We have arranged for a site convenient to the main clubhouse to be reserved exclusively for our use. A brunch (subsidized by Hennessy Jaguar) will be available in the clubhouse for our members and concours entrants. A private dining room facing the lake has been reserved for our use. The subsidized charge for the brunch is $10 per person (limit of two reduced price brunches per member or per car entered - whichever is greater; regular brunch charge is $18.50). The brunch will include the usual array of brunch type dishes as well as beverages and dessert.

This will be an officially sanctioned JCNA event and scores will count toward national standings. JCNA rules will be followed; therefore, there will be a Champion Division and a Driven Division. Registration fees are detailed in the registration form.

All members of other JCNA clubs are invited to attend even if you do not wish to enter your Jaguar. There will be a Display Only area for you to park your Jaguar if you only want to attend and observe. If you plan to attend and observe only but want to have brunch, please fill out a registration form so that we can have an accurate count for the brunch.

The HSR Historic Races are being held at Road Atlanta on the weekend of September 14-15. Road Atlanta is about 22 miles from Gainesville.

There are two hotels in Gainesville - Best Western Lanier Centre (1-800-782-8966) with rates of $86-96 with full breakfast included (you may possibly get a better rate if you mention you are attending our event-since we couldn’t guarantee a certain number of rooms, we couldn’t nail this down) and a Hampton Inn (770-503-0300) with rates in the range of $72.00, with breakfast included.

Both of these are located in downtown Gainesville but due to the events at Road Atlanta that weekend, there are not a lot of rooms available.
