Jack Sanft, 78, passed away on December 16, 2002. Jack was the longtime president of the Delaware Jaguar Club, and its President Emeritus since 1990. In 1992 at the Cleveland AGM, he was the first recipient of JCNA’s prestigious Andrew Whyte Service Award for his years of service to the DVJC and the JCNA. A familiar sight at many AGMs, Jack contributed his advice as a delegate and as a member of the Nominations Committee, a position held until the time of his passing.

At the University of Pennsylvania from which he graduated, Jack was a football lineman on the team called “Munger’s Men”, named after coach Munger. Jack is survived by Bernice, his wife of 54 years, daughter Hennie, sons Stuart and Elliot, and four grand daughters.

In the Delaware Valley, he was affectionately known as “Jaguar Jack”.
