We are lucky again this year to have our Concours d'Elegance at the home of Emily & John Testrake. Seeing the cars spread across the grounds is to experience. We will be having a day event with gates opening at 9:00am and judging beginning at 12:00pm. Boxed lunches and drinks will be provided by Plaza Jaguar for all show participants! Plaza Jaguar has been a major sponsor of our show for years and we appreciate them!
For those who wish to participate, a casual dinner featuring Brown Jerry’s barbecued beef sandwiches, fried chicken, mac and cheese and baked beans will be served following the show on the show grounds. Brown Jerry’s is a very well known eatery in Pacific, Missouri nearby. Tables and chairs will be set up providing a nice setting. Dinner is only $35.00 per person!
Just in case, we will incorporate the following into our show again if necessary:
First, effective social distancing throughout the event.
Second, lunch will be catered and served utilizing all of the current, professional safety protocols.
Finally, to ensure cleanliness, restrooms and facilities are dedicated to the sole use of event participants.
With those requirements in mind, we are planning this year’s concours again at John and Emily's residence. The 15 acre, rural setting is more than adequate for the kind of event we’re imagining. A large meadow off the main house serves as a show field. We have another large area for trailer parking. We’re having individual lunches catered. Each car entry will include two lunches. Additional lunches can be ordered if needed. We also have easily accessible, dedicated guest restroom facilities. It’s more garden party than traditional concours but it still fits the bill. Emily and I, along with the JAGSL concours committee, hope you’ll consider coming and bringing a car out.
The Drury Plaza Hotel in Chesterfield at 314-532-3300, is our host hotel again this year. It is a little distance from John and Emily's but has the covered parking garage in case of rain (which we hope to not need!) The rate per night is $109.00 and reservations can be made by calling 800-325-0720, please refer to booking number 2434855 for the Jaguar Club rate. In the event of bad weather preventing us from using the farm, we will move the show to the parking garage at the Drury Inn in Chesterfield.
In the event that the entire show has to be canceled, we will contact everyone by email and send full refunds.
