Greetings to all JANE members from here in the UK.
I am in the process of buying the subject car here in the UK. It is
a 1958 3.4l LHD automatic, originally from California (i believe),
but was purchased from a John Wayne Snyder, Grand Rapids, Mich in
1997 by a Keith McNair. The car is chassis number S937562BW;
Engine V 4669-8, Gear box H998/15R.
The Heritage certificate says that the car was originally red, with
black interior and top. It is now cream, with red interior and a
black top. The car appears to have been extensively restored in the
90s in the US, and then further work has been conducted by Southern
Classics here in the UK over the last 5 years
Does anybody know anything about the history of this car? Does
anybody know who conducted the original or any of the restorations?
The car here in the UK is registered as 321 JAG and may have been
shown in the home counties, does anybody recollect the car? My
interest is to re-construct the history during my due diligence
period. Does anybody know Mr Snyder? A restoration shop in Grand
Rapids that may have conducted the work?

Any help or insight is much appreciated......

Tony
