Just acquired my second Jag with 31000 km on the engine. Runs like a dream. Second time out got an engine light. my mechanic has a universal code detector---told him nothing. Jag dealers not helpful told to bring it in. One mechanic where I bought the care BIRKSHIRE JAG OF tHORNHILL NEAR TORONTO SAID A LOOSE CLAMP ON BREATHER---TIGHTENED AND LIGHT WENT OFF. hAD CAR DETAILED--PICKED UP---ENGINE LIGHT ON. Any one help me buy or obtain code translations or purchase equipment for my mechanic only man I trust beside my wife, children and lawyer.

If you got a Check Engine Light (CEL), you can go to any local Auto parts store to have the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) for free!
