I am considering purchasing another XK that has detailed pictures and documentation of its restoration. I am certain the body and the frame were repaired extensively, ive spoken with the restorer and received DVDs as well.
However, all frame and body seams were sealed - which apparently is not a proper method for XK restoration - more a technique for muscle cars I'm told.

Im aware that often this kind of restoration approach is used to cover up sloppy, or unfinished work - but Is sealing frame and body seams on well restored chassis and body a bad thing?

thank you!
