Hello - been complaining to my service people about a hard "slamming" in the front end for around 3 years.. after installing new shocks last year the ride is great but whenever I hit a dip or pothole at a certain speed on the street I still get that annoying "bottoming out sound".. I did some research online and read an article about the suspension and my issue was described pretty accurately when the article talked about Ball Joints. Wondering if the car is "rack & pinion" steering and if anyone can concur that this could be the cause? Is this a big job? I've found ball joint parts for under $100 each.. would LOVE to get rid of this issue. Thanks in advance!
