Disconnected battery and now wont start, have lights radio etc.

Was running great and a code popped up  ABS I think.  Heard if you disconnected battery it might erase it.   After that  it won't turn over.  battery and cable connections aren't the issue.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.
