I have a 1985 XJS v-12 which needs some serious engine work (new valve seals, head gaskets, etc), yet a Jag dealership in Northern NH, has refused to do the work due to "complexity and lack of man-power". Does anyone here know of a respectable mechanic/shop that is willing to do this type of work? Any leads would be a world of help!!

There's a Jag dealer in northern NH? I thought there were only moose!

Classic problem, Jag dealers are not interested or motivated to work on the cars and engines they sold as little as ten years ago. What a great company.....

You will want to check the club listings on this site and look at the people who run Jaguar Association of New England. Either email them or phone them and ask them if they know of a good shop that can help. In particular contact Harry Parkinson or Gary Hagopian.
