I owe Ed Miller, Karen's extended family, and all JCNA members an apology for not attending the memorial dinner on Sunday, June 29th, to which I had been invited.
As President of the JCNA, it was the final opportunity for me to properly pay our respects to Karen, who was so much a part of the JCNA. and Jaguar Cars.
My frustration at not finding a hotel or a place to park my trailer on arrival in Carmel, NY on Saturday, prompted my regrettable decision to get back on the highway, and head for home.
I offer this by way of explanation, and not as an excuse. I had great respect for Karen and her work, and hope that she's now in a better place.
Condolances to Ed.

Sincerely,
Gary Hagopian, JCNA President

You are redeemed in my eyes for your honesty. You missed a great time. We laughed, we cried, we ate good food, and we attempted to remember Karen in a manner she would have approved of. The weight of her loss will be felt for years in JCNA. Perhaps the best part of the day was when Ed drove her black 120 racer home in defiance of the strictly inforced noise ordinances.
