Last year, I bought a set of LED bulbs for the dashboard, hoping to make the gauges easier to read at night.

Last weekend, I lowered the dashboard underside panel (the small one and the large one), removed the 4 bolts holding the gauge panel in place hoping I would be able to drop the panel enough to replace each bulb. But no.

Between the tach drive cable, the speedo cable, and a hard copper line which I can only presume is the oil pressure feed, the gauge panel hardly moves at all - just enough to pull the studs out of their holes and lower the panel about an inch, if that.

Any ideas? Right now, I don't think I could replace *any* of the bulbs...

Thanks.
