Wondered if anyone has a set of Pilote X tires on their XK 120 aid if they are worth the extra cost for just motoring around with no track time?

If you are not bother about speed rating and just want the steering to feel light, like it should be and look good then we flog the Michelin X

That is great value for an extremely high quality 112 mph speed rated tyre. It's not a sports car tyre but for gentle pootling they are lovely. we ship them free of shipping charges as we do the reat of the Michelin Classic range.

we only get good reports about the Michelin Pilote X https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/jaguar/xk.html they are brilliant. i must say i would fit the Cinturato it is more correct, and what they would fitted in period. The handling will be a bit lighter and more delicate, with a more correct tyre like the Cinturato. there will also be a new period Pirelli Stella Biancha coming soon as well which is exciting. There isn't currently a very good crossplpy available.

these Pirelli are available through Lucas Classic tyes in the US http://www.lucasclassictires.com/Pirelli-Cinturato_c54.htm
