I've just returned to the forums after an extended absence and was rather surprised to see the complete format change for the forums. I realize that this sort of thing occurs, but I am wondering how one is to get access to "old content."
I posted a number of threads that included photos and step-by-step instructions for various repairs and I now cannot locate them. I can't find a mechanism to search for all of my own posts nor are things turning up using search terms that I'm almost certain were present in those threads.
Did content from the "old forums" get lost in the transition, specifically photos that would have been posted in threads? If not, can someone advise me on how to search to find old content? I have gone so far as to do external searches using the "site:www.jcna.com/forums" feature and that's still not turning up content that I'm virtually certain was there.
It's also a shame that there appears to have been no effort to convert direct links placed in posts to send members directly to other posts were not converted, but are now just broken.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
