The new Jaguar Corporate Identity programme is now underway using a radically revised 'Leaper' mascot as it's main identifier. My design company Blue Chip Illustration was subcontracted by Jaguar to design and produce the 'Leaper'. First step: a scultor was commissioned to produced a 12inch clay model. This was scanned to provide data for our digital artists who created the definitive logo in virtual 3D. It's this version that has been broadcast recently on TV ads. worldwide to announce the new XJ. The clay is also still in our possession and, interestingly, our copyright. I'm considering ways of making this model available to Jaguar enthusiasts along with a limited edition of prints signed by myself as Art Director and the original artist. I would appreciate feedback on this venture.

I too may be interested if these are on a limited scale. Perhaps JCNA could commission a new award or revamp some of the old using the new leaper.
