As a lot of you know by now, Nelson Rath has retired from the position of JCNA Administrator. The business committee headed by Gary Kincel conducted a search for a replacement and received a lot of well qualified resumes. After reviewing the resumes and talking to the applicants, the business committee presented me with their recommendation. Using their recommendation and my own, I have appointed Deanie Kennedy to take over the position. She will be handling the accounting end of the JCNA business but most importantly will be in charge of membership. From the letters sent out the first of the year, we were shown that there was a need for improvement in that area from the top down to the club level. Deanie is a CPA so we will not have to go to an outside CPA for their services. She has also been the membership chair for the Rocky Mountain club for the past 12 years and is very familiar with what is required to do the job. She also has all of the software necessary to run the accounting and membership areas of the club and the knowledge to run them. As such, if anyone has any questions or suggestions on ways to streamline the membership and renewal process, please forward your suggestions on to her. Hopefully there will be no noticeable disruption in services during this change over.
