Normally behind the grill and in front of the radiator low down, however, do not get too concerned, change the oil and filter and add 6.9 quarts, allow time for oil to drain down into sump, then check dipstick, if ok, start engine and allow to warm up. Shut engine off allow time( 2 minutes ) for oil to drain back into sump. Remove dipstick and wipe clean, reinsert, note where oil level is. The oil level is correct when it is at the top of the crosshatched section.
The difference between MIN and the top of the crosshatch area is one quart, do not allow oil level to reach OR EXCEED the MAX LEVEL.
