I am by no means an expert - I'm in the process of restoring an XK150 that came out of a barn in pieces. This is my first Jag project. The body was off the frame in one piece. Don't know if this correct but handled the body in one piece by strapping doors shut and picking from structural members in front and trunk. I have tried to attached pictures. The sling attachment can be seen in the front view. I used an engine hoist front an rear to left the body and place it on the table shown in pictures. Blocking was placed at body support points. If you look in the rear fender well picture one is visible. The body support points are shown in the service manual. Support points are identifiable if you can view from below. I have estimated the body weight at 1000 lbs. If their are experts reading this that are cringing please comment.
