I am searching for the owner of an 1956 XK140 with chassis #S818734. My father owned this car in New Jersey, sometime between 1966 and 1972, and then had to sell it for financial reasons. My father recently passed away, and while cleaning his tool box, I found the original nameplate for this car. Apparently, my father removed the nameplate before selling the XK140. It would mean a lot to our family to reunite with this car, as this was my father's first car, and my mother remembers it fondly while they were dating in college. We have found that on xkdata.com, this car is shown as having been restored and was in Europe in the 2006/2008 time frame. We also believe it was shown in England at XK60.
