Anyone know of a good place to get original shocks on my 61E-type rebuilt?

Chuck,

I don't know the answer to your question, but my question to you is: why would you want to do that? There are very good authentic replacement shocks available from various of the "usual suspects" that are indistinguishable visually from the originals, for all practical purposes. Plus, the modern shocks are better made and provide better ride and handling than 40+ year old shocks, even if rebuilt. And at what is probably a fraction of the cost of rebuilding. There may be a concours guru out there who will correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as you replace a part like that with a comparable part, new or not, it will be acceptable and not cost you points. So, why rebuild them?
