I wanted to share a great experience I had while looking for some specialty screws for my 68 E-Type Stromberg carburetors.
Oh, I called several looking for the correct Idle Trim Screws and were told to make my own or you have to buy old carbs and use the screws from them. Well, I'm very fortunate to have finally reached Mr. Rhys Kent with Island Automation who not only had the parts but went on to share ways to correct problems that are common to dual Stromberg 175 CD's (like that diaphragms sold in the rebuild kits now days are too thin which hamper the correct operation of the carb's).
I found the experience very refreshing since he actually knows carburetors as well as the technical in's and out's of Jaguar Carburetors.
Just so you know, I have only recommended one other company (a Silver Cadmuim Plating Company) only because I rarely come across a very valuable source that anyone working on a Jaguar needs to know about.
