I've been wanting to install a trickle charger connection under the bonnet at the starter motor for my XK120 OTS. I have a 2x 6V configuration and it's a pain to have to get at the batteries to attach charger clips. Has any one had success with this or another configuration? If so would you mind attaching a photo of your setup?

Update: After having battery problems. I swapped out the two 6V batteries for a single 12V battery. The Battery new battery Mazda MT-MX-5 fit within a single battery bay and a longer jumper cable was used to connect to the ground lead. To keep the cables out of engine bay. The trickle charger was attached directly to the battery posts with screws. The charger connector cable is long enough that I can connect it by simply folding the passenger seat forward. This is nice also because I can keep the bonnet closed and not have to worry about damage from cords hanging out
