I have 70 Roadster with a loose inter steering column. XKs show a replacement bearing kit which would fix this problem, however no stock. Does anyone know where I could order a bearing kit or does anyone have a fix for this problem?
Thanks

I used match book covers then upgraded to shoe box cardboard rubbed with wax for good measure. On my 64 there are two holes at the bottom of the outer column that I think had plastic bits that centered the shaft and hold it from wiggle. I was going to get nylon bolts to thread in the holes but the cardboard worked so good I forgot all about it. Just cut a few strips wrap them around the shaft and slid them up snug in the outer housing from the bottom.

Gerald,
Are you sure its the bearing? I found that the outer housing that's designed to collapse sort of collapsed and all I needed was to fit shims. Eerything tightened up after the shims were installed. I maded them out of gasket material as there is hardly any load on this component. Also check to see if the inner column has collapsed. If it has it can be fixed, but its hard to explain how to do it in words.
