A similar issue occurred with my '94, where one of my front wheels on an uneven surface, prohibited my car to start or get out of park. I too, rocked my car as well with no result. Giving the steering wheel a tug or pull and holding, to center or relieve the pressure from the tire on the steering, resolved my situation. Wish you luck.

The first things to look at would be fuses 13 and 16 [both 5 amp] at the LH fuse panel, the brake pedal switch and the Park Microswitch at the front of the shifter. There is a solenoid that could fail, but that is really rare.

Good luck!
