The club had a Holiday Party on 12/5/21 at the Seattle Yacht Club. This was organized by Debbie Read. Thank you Debbie! There was a bit of a nautical theme to the decorations. And here we have Debbie and Glen Read arriving for the party! At least we could remove masks while drinking or eating. L-R is Mike Hunsley, Hazel with Jeff Beatty and then Jerry Lamb. What a handsome couple, Jerry and Alison Lamb! Suzanne and Mike Hunsley. L-R, seated, Trish Blackburn, Cheryl Jacobson, Lika Wiken. John and Trish Blackburn. I vote them the cutest couple! Ann and Bob Alness. It was good to see them enjoying the party. Carol and Doug Jackson are another handsome couple. Katherine and John Holmes. The Holmes, Katherine, John and their son Bill. Kurt Jacobson talking with Michael Watts Jim and Carol Sanders. Debbie and Glen Read. Tanya and Bob Book. The table was full of really nice items donated for the silent bid auction. There were so many items donated we needed to add tables. All the money raised went to the Northwest Harvest. Practical items like this E-Type Maintenance Chart were among the auction items. Margaret Ames and Tom Hilton. Gary Harris, left, and Roy Pringle had a chance to catch up. L-R Tom Toth, Kent Wiken and Richard Scott. Lisa and Kent Wiken, another cute couple! We lined up at the buffet table. Everything was delicious. The buffet table was everything we expected from the yacht club. Another handsone couple, Sue Kingston and Paul Petach. Cheryl and Kurt Jacobson. L-R Tom Toth, Richard Scott and Thomas Swayze. L-R Brian Case, Ann and Bob Alness and the back of Douglas Jackson. Linda Roberts, Treasurer, had to work at the party, selling the tickets for drinks and collecting the auction money. But I think her and Ray Papineau still had a good time! Of course, the Yacht Club was an awesome place to have a holiday party!

We gathered around inside their store area and listened to our guide talk about the drving school. She gave us the background on the school. We had time to wander around looking at their displays. Patty McKerney and Kurt Hrubant looking over the displays. Paul, Brian and Tom looking over a DirtFish sponsored US Formula Four car. Kelley told us about the race car drivers uniforms they collected and hung n the hallway. Their "Hall of Flame" contains many fire suits from racing legends. Some of our members recognized many of the famous racecar drivers names. More fire suits. Eddie Irvine scored Jaguar Racing's first Formula One podium finish in 2001. ( I copied this from the JagMag. Thanks Kurt). More fire suits. Cheryl and Patty watching Kurt Hrubant using one of the schools smulators. Patty cringes waiting for the crash that is about to happen to Kurt. Tom Bohn tried out one of the simulators too. They had a world map with pushpins representing where visitors to their rally school have come from. It was kinda far but we could watch some of the drivers taking part in the driving school's lessons. Back in the parking lot at the end. L-R Lisa and Kent Wiken, Paul Petach, Brian Case, Kurt Hrubant, Patty McKerney and Tom Bohn. The group planned to drive along the surging Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River but prior flooding put a damper on that. Some members ended with dinner at the Snoqualmie Casino.
